A Few Treasures

These are a few of my treasures from the scriptures in this study:

Because of God’s tender mercy,
the morning light from heaven is about to break upon us,
to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death,
and to guide us to the path of peace. (Luke 1:78-79 NLT)
The one who is the true light, who gives light to everyone,
was coming into the world. (John 1:9 NLT)
The light shines in the darkness,
and the darkness can never extinguish it. (John 1:5 NLT)
The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light;
those who dwelt in a land of deep darkness,
on them has light shone. (Isaiah 9:2)
Such things were written in the Scriptures long ago to teach us.
And the Scriptures give us hope and encouragement
as we wait patiently for God’s promises to be fulfilled. (Romans 15:4)
